The Chaya Mushka Schneerson Mikvah located at 38 Empress Road, St. Kilda,  Melbourne, Australia has recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. Founded by Rabbi Aaron Serebryanski, who continues to take active part in the mikvah's well being, the mikvah has honored this anniversary with a comlete and beautiful makeover!

Created ten years ago as the first Chabad mikvah in Melbourne (built Bor al Gabai Bor), the mikvah has been artistically renewed and completely renovated to meet the growing needs of the community.

Original artwork by Mrs. Kaminetzki of Melbourne depicting mikvah is displayed next to a beautiful fountain at the entrance to the mikvah. The decor just gets more lovely with each step into the interior. A true awakening of the senses in addition to an awakening of the soul. All of these stunning enhancements serve to make the mikvah experience a more beautiful and uplifting occasion for all.

Mrs. T. Rubin is manager of the mikvah and was recently featured on the George Negis Show in Melbourne.

Matchmaking service

j-junction was established in 2006 as a not for profit Jewish introductions service, for singles 23 to 50 years. We have taken the age old practice of matchmaking and modernised it, making it applicable to Jewish singles of all religious affiliations Australia-wide.

We are not an online dating service. We are a discreet and confidential matchmaking service where only you, your matchmaker and the people you are introduced to, are aware of your membership with j-junction. Any person who has access to your personal information does so for matching purposes only and has signed a confidentiality agreement.

We currently have over 800 members on our database, all of whom are looking for a serious relationship. Each of our members is allocated a matchmaker who provides a personalised and individual matching service for our members. With over 40 volunteer matchmakers across Australia, we have found that our members appreciate the time and dedication each matchmaker devotes to their role of finding them a match.
